Orlando as the character Legolas in "Lord of the Rings." Legolas' name means "Green Leaf," which is appropriate as he is a woodland elf, and the son of Thranduil, Lord of the Elves of Mirkwood. Legolas is extremely graceful, and is pretty handy with a bow and arrow too, as well as being the "eyes and ears of the Fellowship." After the war of the ring, Legolas built himself a ship and headed off to Valinor with his friend Gimli. Legolas' exact age is not certain, but in the movies he is 2931 years old! |
